Claudio Monteleone

Claudio Monteleone nasce e cresce a Livorno, in terra italiana, come giocattolaio e teatrante, in seguito si appassiona all’arte dell’Illustrazione e si catapulta fra pennelli e colori, sperimentando e incrociando le diverse tecniche, divertendosi a trasformare e raccontare la realtà in modo originalissimo per tratto e impatto cromatico.

Il suo stile, a braccetto col gusto per la narrazione, lo spinge a realizzare progetti editoriali quali l’illustrazione di racconti e lo sviluppo di guide turistiche che abbiano il disegno come punto di riferimento.

Le sue opere amano spostarsi e trovare accoglienza, oltre che sul territorio nazionale, anche sul suolo straniero: Stoccolma, Amsterdam e New York sono le tappe più recenti di un viaggio affascinante.

Claudio Monteleone was born and grew up in Livorno, on the Italian soil, as a toymaker and actor. Later on, he developed a passion for the Art of Illustration and started playing around with colours and brushes. Experimenting and mixing different techniques, he enjoys transforming and depicting reality in an extremely original way in terms of brush stroke and chromatic impact.

His style, along with a flair for storytelling, drives him to create editorial projects, such as the illustration of stories and the development of tourist guides, where Drawing is the principal component.

His works like to travel and be welcomed not only on the national territory, but in foreign Countries as well. Stockholm, Amsterdam and New York are the most recent stopovers in a fascinating journey.

Storia di un curriculum
Come tutte le cose anche il nostro amico Curriculum nacque, crebbe, visse, e morì. Di lui ci restano dei segni indelebili vagamente inchiostrati e acquarellati e l'incancellabile verità che il suo signore e padrone, Claudio Monteleone, non si sia ancora stufato di cimentarsi nell'arte del Racconto, soprattutto se illustrato.
Si dice di lui
Il Curriculum, gran narratore, fanfarone come pochi. Di lui si narrano le più grandi gesta di fine dicitore, capace di accogliere nel suo repertorio le più fantastiche acrobazie descrittive. Gran personaggio, talmente invadente e petulante da diventare praticamente insostituibile... un vero e proprio "migliore amico".

People tell about it the greatest deeds of fine teller, who is able to accept in its repertoire the most fanciful descriptive acrobatics. Big character, so intrusive and impertinent that it becomes almost irreplaceable… a real "best friend".
